The 37th match of ECS T10 Malta 2021 will see Royal Strikers (RST) taking on Atlas UTC Knights CC (AUK) in a Group A game at the Marsa Sports Complex on Thursday, June 24.
Having lost just one of their six group games so far, Atlas UTC Knights sit second in the Group A standings with 10 points to their name and a net run rate of 0.672.
Royal Strikers, on the other hand, have struggled for form this season. They have lost all their six matches and sit at the bottom of the table with a NRR of -3.928.

An in-form Atlas UTC Knights side go into the fixture as the obvious favourites, given that they have won five of their six ECS T10 Malta games so far. AUK trail Group A table leaders Marsa by just two points with two games in hand.
Winning the next two matches will see the Knights end the group stage as the leaders. Bottom-placed Royal Strikers, on the other hand, are out of contention for the knockouts and will be playing for pride against the Knights.

Top tip: Best batsmen
Given the poor season that the Royal Strikers have endured this season, it is difficult to pick an outstanding batsman from the side. However, Livin Varghese has been consistent with the willow. In six matches, he has 104 runs at an average of 17.33 and could be a reliable pick from the RST camp.
Basil George will be the best bet with the bat from AUK's camp. The middle-order batsman hit a 30-ball 60 in the last match, which included eight boundaries and three sixes, to lead the Knights to a 9-wicket victory against Marsa. Having garnered 312 fantasy points so far, George remains one of the best batsmen in the tournament.
Top tip: Best bowlers
Strikers' bowling department has just not clicked this season and has been a significant reason for their downfall. However, if one has to pick, a fantasy team owner should go with Jaison Jerome, the highest wicket-taker for the side with three scalps.
Bose Paul has emerged as one of the most reliable bowlers this season. The 33-year-old has been an experienced addition to the AUK side as the player smartly manages to check runs even when he doesn’t take wickets. The last five matches have seen Paul taking five wickets and earning 259 fantasy points.
Top tip: All-rounder and wicket-keeper
Basil George will be the best pick for the all-rounder position as well. In the last five matches, he has tallied 117 runs and taken four wickets. Against a struggling RST side, George is expected to be the best all-around player on the field.
Unfortunately, neither the Strikers nor the Knights boast of an outstanding wicket-keeper in their ranks. But, AUK's Eldhose Mathew could be a wise pick, given that he is likely to end up on the winning side and will get those bonus points.
