The much-anticipated second edition of the Road Safety World Series is set to kickstart from Saturday, September 10 at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
The first match of Road Safety World Series 2022 will witness a Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends team squaring off against a Jonty Rhodes-led South Africa Legends side.
India Legends are the defending champions, having gotten the better of Sri Lanka Legends in the previous edition.
The Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, the Holkar Stadium in Indore, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun, and the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in Raipur are the four venues where the tournament will take place.
Kanpur will host the tournament opener, while Raipur will be the venue for the two semi-finals and final. The tournament, which will be in the T20 format, will feature eight teams contesting for the grand prize with more than 100 former international stars vying for the trophy.
The eight teams participating in the tournament are India Legends, South Africa Legends, West Indies Legends, Australia Legends, England Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, Bangladesh Legends and New Zealand Legends.
