Organised by the Pondicherry Cricket Association, the Pondicherry T10 Tournament 2023 will begin on Tuesday, May 16 with Smashers taking on Eagles in the opening encounter of the competition.
A total of eight teams will be vying for the trophy during the three-week-long 10-overs-per-side tournament. These teams are the Eagles, Smashers, Avengers, Patriots, Titans, Warriors, Royals, and Kings.
As many as 59 matches will be played, including the semi-finals and final over the entirety of the tournament.
All the teams will square off against each other twice in a double round-robin format during the league stage with the top four teams at the end of it progressing to the semi-finals.
The semi-final lineups will pit the first-placed team in the league with the fourth, while second place faces third. The winners of both semi-finals will then lock horns in the final of the tournament, which is slated to take place on June 5.
A maximum of three matches have been scheduled per day in this tournament and all the games will be held at the CAP Siechem Ground in Pondicherry.
