The Pakistan Women vs South Africa Women T20Is 2023 will start on Friday, September 1 in Karachi, Pakistan.

Pakistan Women are all set to host South African Women at home for the first time ever. The visiting side will play three T20Is against Pakistan Women.

South Africa are currently ranked fifth in the ICC women’s T20I rankings, while Pakistan are placed seventh in the rankings.

As far as the head-to-head between these teams go, South Africa lead the way with 11 wins from 18 encounters, while Pakistan have emerged triumphant on seven occasions.

South Africa's interim captain Laura Wolvaardt will lead the side for the series as Sune Luus recently stepped down as skipper. The bulk of their squad who will travel to Pakistan were part of the T20 World Cup 2023.

Tumi Sekhukhune has replaced bowler Shabnim Ismail, who retired from international cricket in May, while Nondumiso Shangase and Mieke de Ridder are a couple other fresh additions to the squad. 

Ahead of the series, hosts Pakistan also named their squads. They have called up two uncapped players in 18-year-old batter Shawaal Zulfiqar and wicketkeeper-batter Najiha Alvi for the T20Is. They have also added Syeda Aroob Shah and Natalia Parvaiz to their T20 squad.

As per the Pakistan Women vs South Africa Women T20Is 2023 schedule, the two sides will lock horns in three T20 international games starting on September 1. The final T20I will be played on September 5. 

All three T20Is of the Pakistan Women vs South Africa Women T20Is 2023 will be hosted at the National Stadium, Karachi.
