The Oman national cricket team will host Namibia in a five-match T20 international series starting on Monday, April 1.
As per the Oman vs Namibia T20I 2024 schedule, all five matches of the series will be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1).
Oman are currently placed 18th in the ICC Men’s T20I team rankings, while Namibia are currently five places above on the 13th spot.
Oman head into the series after registering a 2-1 T20I series win over Papua New Guinea at home in March.
On the other hand, the Namibia national cricket team reached the final of the African Games 2023 before losing to Zimbabwe by eight wickets in the final.
Both Oman and Namibia will aim to test themselves ahead of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the West Indies and the United States in June.
Meanwhile, Oman will be captained by Aqib Ilyas while Namibia will be led by Gerhard Erasmus.
Oman vs Namibia T20 head-to-head
Namibia hold a superior head-to-head record against Namibia in T20 international cricket, winning two of the three matches that they have played so far.
The last time these two sides met, Namibia beat Oman by 54 runs during an ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier 2019 in Dubai.
