Table-toppers North-West Warriors (NWW) will lock horns with Northern Knights (NK) in the seventh match of the Cricket Ireland Inter-Provincial Limited Over Cup 2021 on Friday, May 21.

Northern Knights, on the other hand, have lost two of their three matches in the tournament so far. Led by Harry Tector, the Knights are placed in third spot with four points from three games.

The Warriors had defeated the Knights by 62 runs in their previous meeting of the ongoing 50-over tournament. Ahead of their second encounter between these two teams, Andy McBrine’s team will be on high confidence and they will start as favourites against the Knights on Friday.

NWW vs NK best players for Dream11

Top Tip: Best batsmen

North-West Warriors’ William Porterfield scored 73 runs off 97 balls against the same opposition in their last encounter. The Warriors will hope Porterfield can continue his good form against the Knights on Friday.

For Northern Knights, Jeremy Lawlor has been their standout batsman, aggregating 207 runs in three matches at an average of 103.50. He has hit two fifties in the tournament so far.

Top Tip: Best bowlers

In the bowling department, North-West Warriors captain Andy McBrine has been the wrecker-in-chief for his side in the 50-over tournament. The 27-year-old has picked eight wickets in three matches at an impressive economy of 4.06.

On the other hand, Graeme McCarter has picked three wickets for Northern Knights. Along with picking crucial wickets, McCarter has been an economical bowler for his side.

Top Tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper

As far as all-rounders are concerned, picking Knights all-rounder Mark Adair is a no-brainer. Adair has scored 73 runs as well as claimed five wickets in the tournament so far.

For the wicket-keeper spot, Stephen Doheny will be the preferred choice for in-experienced Neil Rock. Doheny has been a valuable asset for the Warriors, both for his wicket-keeping skills and batting.
