Nutmeg Warriors (NW) take on Cinnamon Pacers (CP) in the final of the Spice Isle T10 tournament at the National Cricket Stadium in St George’s, Grenada, on Friday, June 11.
CP had qualified for the knockout round by finishing second in the points table and the Warriors finished fourth to squeeze in at the last moment. However, both sidies performed exceptionally well to reach the final.
While the Pacers defeated Ginger Generals, the Warriors saw off Saffron Strikers’ challenge to set up a mouth-watering summit clash.

Having won six of their 10 league games, the Pacers are evidently the more in-form team going into this match. The Warriors, on the other hand, had won just four of their 10 league matches. Quite interestingly though, when the two sides met in the league stage last month, the Nutmeg Warriors defeated Cinnamon Pacers by 10 wickets.
However, riding on their momentum, CP will go into the match as slight favourites knowing fully well the strengths and weaknesses of NW.

Top tip: Best batsmen
NW batsman Seandell Regis showed what he is made of in the last match against SS as the opener whacked three boundaries and four sixes to score 55 runs off 27 balls. Regis has tallied 483 fantasy points so far and is a must-have in any fantasy team.
Cinnamon Pacers opener Alick Athanaze will be the best bet with the bat. The batsman remained unbeaten in CP's last match against GG as he hit 57 off 25 balls that had two boundaries and six sixes. The 22-year-old has a whopping 850 fantasy points so far.
Top tip: Best bowlers
Darel Cyrus was the star of the show for the Warriors in the last game, where the bowler took two wickets in two overs and conceded just 19 runs. With four wickets in his last five matches, Cyrus is in some form and will be a good pick for any fantasy team.
CP bowler Chard Charles has been quite lethal. His two-fer against GG in two overs, where the bowler conceded just 12 runs was crucial to restrict the opponent to just 90 runs. He has picked five wickets in his last five matches.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
Cinnamon Pacers skipper Micah Narine is easily one of the best all-rounders in the tournament. The middle-order batsman might not have clicked in his last two matches, but the player has scored 91 runs in his last five matches and took two wickets as well. With 491 fantasy points, Narine could be the difference-maker in the final.
Unfortunately, neither CP nor NW boast a solid wicket-keeper, who can also pitch in with the bat. However, in Pacers' Javed Hazzard, fantasy team owners will have a player who could come in handy down the batting order.
