New Zealand will host Netherlands in a one-off T20I and three ODIs starting on Friday, March 25.

Ahead of the tour, the Black Caps have announced a depleted squad with 12 regular white-ball cricketers, including captain Kane Williamson joining their respective franchises for the upcoming season of Indian T20 League, which will begin over the weekend.

In the absence of Williamson, Tom Latham will lead the New Zealand side in the four matches against Netherlands.

Meanwhile, wicket-keeper batter Dane Cleaver and all-rounder Michael Bracewell have received their maiden call-ups for the upcoming series. While Cleaver has been added to the T20I squad, Bracewell has been picked in both the T20I and ODI squads.

Fast bowlers Scott Kuggelejin and Ben Sears have also been included in the T20I squad while batter Henry Nicholls and pacer Kyle Jamieson have been picked in the ODI set-up.

Former New Zealand captain Ross Taylor will also make his last appearance in international cricket in the ODI series after announcing his retirement earlier this year.

On the other hand, Netherlands will miss the services of Roelof van der Merwe, Shane Snater and Colin Ackermann as they will be busy with their county cricket commitments in England.

The Dutch, though, will be rejuvenated by the return of their openers Max O’Dowd and Stephen Myburgh. All-rounder Logan van Beek and spin-bowling all-rounder Michael Rippon have also been included for the upcoming limited-overs series.
