Nepal A will host Canada in a three-match unofficial one-day international (ODI) series starting on Sunday, February 18.
Under the leadership of Binod Bhandari, Nepal A will play their first-ever series. Nepal national cricket team head coach Monty Desai will be in charge of the Nepal A side.
As per the Nepal A vs Canada unofficial ODI series 2024 schedule, all three games will be played at the Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu. After the opening match on February 18, the remaining two matches will be held on February 20 and 22.
Nepal A have announced their 16-member squad which includes seven cricketers who have already played an ODI match for the Nepal national cricket team.
On the other hand, the Canada national cricket team will be led by captain Saad Bin Zafar.
The visitors will aim to bounce back after suffering a 0-3 ODI series defeat to hosts Nepal in the recently-concluded three-match series.
Meanwhile, Canada will look to make use of the series in order to prepare themselves for the upcoming tri-series in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 featuring the United Arab Emirates and Scotland starting on February 28.
