Namibia Women, South Africa U-19 Women lock horns in T20 battle: Get full schedule

The Namibia women’s cricket team is set to tour South Africa for two days - July 13 and 14 - as a part of an upcoming four-match T20 International tour. Namibia Women will be locking horns with the South African Women Under-19 team.

Namibia Women have just finished their tour of Europe, where they played a five-match WT20I series in the Netherlands followed by a three-match WT20I series in Germany. The team registered a clean sweep against the Germans and won two against the Dutch.

For the South Africa U-19 Team, this is a part of their preparations for the inaugural ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023. This tour will kick start the preparations.

Cricket Australia reported the South Africa U-19 Women’s Head Coach, Dinesha Devnarain, as saying, “The purpose of the camp is that we have 24 girls now, we originally started with 60. We trimmed that down to 24 and now we are looking to get from 24 to 18 after this camp.”
