Namibia host Uganda in three-match T20I series - watch live streaming in India

The Namibia cricket team will host Uganda in a three-match T20I series starting on Friday, April 8.

Led by Brian Masaba, the visitors will use the tour to prepare for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Challenge League which is expected to be held in Uganda in June followed by the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier B in Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, Deus Muhumuza has been named the vice-captain of the Uganda cricket team, following his return to the squad after completing his academic commitments.

Uganda under-19 cricketers Juma Miyagi and Emmanuel Hasahya have also received their maiden call-up to the senior team.

On the other hand, Namibia cricketers head into the upcoming T20I series after playing for their A-side against Ireland Wolves in three T20Is and five ODIs. While Namibia A won the T20I series 2-1, the ODIs ended 2-2. The hosts will be led by 26-year-old Gerhard Erasmus.

All the matches of the Uganda tour of Namibia T20I Series 2022 will be played at the United Ground in Windhoek, Namibia.

The last time these two sides met in the T20 format, Namibia thrashed Uganda 3-0 in a three-match series at home last April.
