It’s a clash between two bottom-placed teams as Munster Reds (MUR) meet Northern Knights (NK) in Match 10 of the Cricket Ireland Inter-Provincial ODI Limited Over Cup 2021 at the Pembroke Cricket Club in Dublin on Thursday, May 27th.

MUR have played three matches so far and have suffered two losses with another game ending in no result. They have to find a way to be amongst the points by fixing the team combination and climbing up the table.

NW have also had a rather unconvincing run in the tournament with a lone win and two losses in their four matches so far, while the other match was abandoned. Currently ranked third in the table, they would be looking to accumulate a few wins and slowly make their way up the standings.

MUR vs NK Dream11 prediction

Both sides are searching for form and have not really got going in their campaign yet. However, NK are slightly better placed with a win under their belt and that should give them the confidence needed to lift themselves and get the better of MUR.

MUR vs NK best players

Top Tip: Best Batsmen

MUR’s top-order batsman Murray Commins is a great pick for fantasy team owners. He has hit two masterful half-centuries in his last two matches and is also the highest run-getter for his side, making him a player to watch out for.

NK opener Paul Stirling is another batsman to keep an eye  on. He is known for giving quick starts and hammered a brilliant 26-ball 64 at a strike rate of 246.2 against the Leinster Lightning in Match 4. He is an absolutely must-have in your fantasy team.

Top Tip: Best Bowlers

MUR bowler Josh Manley has been consistently bowling well in his last two matches, having taken three wickets already. He has an economy rate below five runs per over and collects 44.7 points per match on an average.

NK bowler Benjamin White is the one to watch out for. He is in good touch at the moment having taken two wickets in his last outing against North West Warriors and is a smart pick for your fantasy team.

Top Tip: Best All-rounder & wicket-keeper

MUR’s Peter Moor is the wicket-keeper to watch out for. He opens the batting as well as plays in the middle-order and is quite effective behind the stumps. Moor has an average of 20.7 points per match.

NK’s Mark Adair is the top pick to go for among all-rounders. He has been amongst the wickets in his last couple of matches and can play an important role in the middle-order. He hit an unbeaten 23-ball 25 in a successful run chase against Leinster Lightning.
