The Kuwait Six Nations T20 Festival 2022 begins on Thursday, June 2 with Afghanistan XI going head-to-head against Sri Lankan XI.

The competition is organized by the Kuwait Cricket Board and will be played entirely at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground. Six teams, including hosts Kuwait, will fight for the title across 19 matches. The final will be held on June 10.

The participating teams are Afghanistan XI, Bangladesh XI, India XI, Kuwait XI, Sri Lankan XI and Pakistan XI. These are not the international teams of nations.

Each team is scheduled to play the other team once in a single round robin format. Following the conclusion of 15 league matches, the top four teams will progress into the knockouts.

The quarter-final and semi-final will be played on June 8 and 9, while the third-place playoff and the Kuwait Six Nations T20 Festival 2022 final matches will be held on June 10.
