The 35th match of ECS T10 Kiel 2021 will see Kummerfelder Sportverein (KSV) going up against SC Europa (SCE) on Wednesday, June 9 at the Kiel Cricket Ground.
Both teams from Group B have shown immense promise so far, but KSV, in particular, have been extravagant in their batting. KSV have no shortage of quality batsmen whatsoever. Four games into the competition and the team has two batsmen who have breached the 100-run mark already. So if one has to pick, Shoaib Azam could be a safe bet. The batsman has accumulated 109 runs at an average of 27.25. His strike rate of 179.68 gives an insight as to what kind of player he is.
From SCE, Israfeel Aryubi is a must-have player. The batsman has scored 113 runs in four innings so far and this includes three 30+ plus scores. His ability to pick wickets with the ball comes in handy too.
Top Tip: Best bowler
Hazrat Said of KSV has been a revelation this season. The bowler has picked seven wickets in four matches and this has come at an excellent economy of 6. Expect a decent return from Said on Wednesday.
SCE have struggled with the ball but if one has to pick, Wajid Khan is a safe bet for Wednesday’s game. The bowler has picked three wickets in as many games and has bowled at an economy of 7.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
No one comes close to KSV’s Ahmed Musaddiq as far as all-rounders are concerned. The 32-year-old tops the run-scoring charts for his team with 123 runs and this has come at a strike rate of 307.50. Overall this season, he has hit 13 sixes and nine fours. With the ball, Musaddiq has managed three wickets at an average of 7.
It’s a hard choice to pick a wicket-keeper mostly because they have had limited time at the pitch with the bat. So if one has to pick, SCE’s Muhammad Mohsin could be an option given his better exposure.
