Dhanbad Daffodils Women will take on Bokaro Blossoms Women in the Jharkhand Women’s T20 Trophy 2022 final at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Sunday, April 10. The match will start at 9:00 AM IST.
The five-team tournament saw Dhanbad Daffodils finishing at the top of the standings with 10 points out of a possible 16 in eight matches. Bokaro Blossoms, on the other hand, followed the table toppers with eight points after four wins in eight matches.
As many as three teams finished with eight points, but Bokaro Blossoms qualified on the back of a superior net run rate.
Dhanbad Daffodils Women and Bokaro Blossoms Women have played two matches this season. Their first meeting came in match 20 where Ritu Kumari’s 48-ball 49 was followed by an exhilarating bowling display as Bokaro Blossoms beat Dhanbad Daffodils by 34 runs.
Dhanbad Daffodils returned the favour in match 21, this time chasing Bokaro Blossoms’ 72/7 with relative ease. Khushboo Kumar, who scored 14 runs, hit the winning boundary in the 18th over.
