India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah tied the knot with TV sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan at a private ceremony in Goa on Monday.

The 27-year-old cricketer was granted leave by the BCCI after he played the third Test against England in Ahmedabad as speculations grew of his marriage with Ganesan.

Meanwhile, Bumrah shared adorable pictures from the wedding ceremony and wrote a Kahlil Gibran -- a Lebanese American writer -- quote on his timeline: "Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course."

"Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you,” Bumrah added on his timeline.

According to reports, the wedding was attended by a limited number of people and nobody was allowed to carry their mobile phones.

Since making his international debut in 2016, Bumrah has featured in 19 Tests, 67 ODIs and 50 T20Is for India.

On the other hand, Ganesan has hosted several shows on cricket broadcast during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the Indian T20 League and Indian cricket team matches.
