The Scotland women's national cricket team will take on Ireland Women in a historic multi-format series to be played in Almeria, Spain, starting on Tuesday, October 17.
As per the Ireland Women vs Scotland Women in Spain 2023 schedule, the white-ball series comprises three one-day internationals and two T20 internationals.
Meanwhile, the upcoming three-match ODI series will be Scotland Women's first official ODI since gaining full ODI status in 2022.
Led by captain Kathryn Bryce, Scotland Women will head into the series high on confidence after topping the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier.
With 10 points from six matches, Scotland secured their spot at the Global Qualifier next year after winning five matches and suffering just a solitary loss.
On the other hand, the Ireland women's national cricket team will be led by Laura Delany.
Ranked 10th in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings, Ireland Women recently whitewashed Netherlands Women 3-0 in a three-match series in August.
For the upcoming series, 19-year-old Ireland wicketkeeper-batter, Joanna Loughran, has received her maiden Ireland call-up.
All-rounder Alana Dalzell has also returned to the squad for the first time since the South Africa series in June 2022.

These two teams have squared off in 11 T20I matches against each other with Ireland winning eight times and Scotland winning thrice.
As far as ODIs go, Ireland have won both the two clashes that have occurred against Scotland in the past
