The Ireland cricket team are coming off a 0-2 series defeat to South Africa at home. The result meant that they have failed to win any of their bilateral series in 2022 so far, following series losses to India (0-2) and New Zealand (0-3).
Meanwhile, the 3-0 series triumph over Zimbabwe in June 2022 meant the Afghanistan cricket team remained unbeaten in a bilateral T20 series since February 2018.

It goes without saying that Rashid Khan must be included in fantasy cricket teams. Mohammad Nabi is arguably the best all-rounder to consider in the first T20I against Ireland. The Afghanistan skipper has registered 399 runs as well as 15 wickets in 18 outings against the Irish, and is available to fantasy players at 9.0 credits.
For a wicket-keeper, Ireland’s Lorcan Tucker is our recommendation. The 25-year-old has recorded 415 runs and 23 dismissals since January 2021, and is capable of producing a match-winning performance against an in-form Afghanistan team. Priced at 8.5 credits, Tucker is a top buy and could get you maximum points.
