The inaugural Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) will start on March 6 and run till March 15 in Mumbai.

As many as six teams will compete in a total of 18 matches in the upcoming tennis ball T10 cricket tournament.

Bangalore Strikers, Chennai Singhams, Falcon Risers Hyderabad, Majhi Mumbai, Srinagar Ke Veer and Tiigers of Kolkata are the teams that will battle for the ISPL 2024 title.

As per the ISPL 2024 schedule, each team will play the other five sides once in a round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the 15 league matches will qualify for the semi-finals.

The winners of the two semi-finals will clash in the ISPL 2024 final on March 15.

All matches of the tennis ball cricket tournament will be played at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane, Mumbai.

Some of the former Indian cricketers and inspirational film stars are involved with ISPL.

Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been named a core Committee Member of ISPL while former India player and coach Ravi Shastri will serve as a Chief Mentor of the T10 league.

Amitabh Bachchan (Mumbai), Akshay Kumar (Srinagar), Hrithik Roshan (Bengaluru), Ram Charan (Hyderabad), Suriya Sivakumar (Chennai), Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan (Kolkata) are some of the Indian film superstars have been announced as co-owners of the ISPL teams.

The first-ever ISPL auction was held on February 25 where as many as 96 players were signed up by the teams out of a pool of 350 players. A total of INR 4.91 crore (US$610,000) was spent on the players selected.

Abhishek Kumar Dalhor became the most expensive player in the ISPL after Majhi Mumbai bought him for INR 27 lakh. Uzair Shaikh was the costliest player in the U19 category as Tiigers of Kolkata acquired his services for INR 5.8 lakh.

The Indian Street Premier League 2024 will be telecast live on Sony Sports Ten 2, Sony Sports 5 and their respective HD TV channels in India.

Live streaming of the ISPL 2024 matches will be available on the SonyLIV app and website.
