The Perth Stadium pitch is one of the fastest in the cricketing world. While it offers great support to the pacers, spinners also tend to rejoice the bounce offered. Shot-making becomes an easier process for the batters, especially in the T20 format, considering the true bounce on the pitch.

The average first innings score at the Perth Stadium is 143 runs in T20 Internationals. In the T20 World Cup 2022, Australia’s run chase of 158 is the highest total at the venue. The other two games played at the Perth Stadium in this edition have been low-scoring encounters.

The straight boundaries at the Perth Stadium are shorter as compared to the square boundaries. Captains, who win the toss, tend to bowl first at the venue considering the dew factor. Three of the five T20Is at the Perth Stadium have been won by the team batting second.
