The Indian cricket team will host New Zealand in a two-match Test series starting from November 25. The first of the two Tests will be played from November 25 to 29 at the Green Park Stadium, Kanpur. The second Test match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 3 to 7.

For the first Test match, Ajinkya Rahane will captain the side with Cheteshwar Pujara named as his deputy. Regular skipper Virat Kohli will join the squad for the second Test in Mumbai and lead the team.

The last time New Zealand won a Test match on Indian soil was back in November 1988. On the other hand, India has lost just one Test match at home since January 2018.
