The Indian cricket team will look to clinch the three-match One Day International (ODI) series when they lock horns with England in the third and final ODI at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Sunday.
After Virat Kohli led India to a 66-run victory in the first match, the England cricket team bounced back strongly as they thrashed the hosts by six wickets in the second ODI on Friday.
Chasing a mammoth target of 337 to level the series, England rode on scintillating knocks from Jonny Bairstow (124) and Ben Stokes (99) to chase down the highest-ever total against India in ODIs.
India spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Krunal Pandya conceded 156 runs in their 16 overs and failed to pick a single wicket. The England batters especially tore into Kuldeep as he looked low on confidence, giving away 84 runs in his 10 overs - his worst bowling performance in an ODI.

Meanwhile, the hosts will be pleased with their batting form, with the likes of KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant contributing in the middle-order. Hence, Suryakumar Yadav might have to wait for his ODI debut.
On the other hand, England will be without their regular captain Eoin Morgan who has been ruled out of the ODI series due to a hand injury. The 34-year-old ICC World Cup winner was forced out of the field in the series opener on Tuesday after suffering a split webbing between his right thumb and index finger that required four stitches.
Now captained by Jos Buttler and with England making a stunning comeback in the ODI series, no major changes are expected in the visitors’ playing XI for the series decider.
