The fifth place playoff match gets underway on Saturday, May 29 as Grenadines Divers (GRD) meet Botanical Gardens Rangers (BGR) in match 27 of the Vincy Premier League 2021 at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown.
GRD ended the group stages with two wins and six losses and finished seventh on the group table. They did put up some good performances in bits and pieces across the tournament but they were not enough to bail their side out of trouble on most occasions.
BGR had a dismal finish in the group stages with just a solitary win and seven losses that made them finish last in the table. In spite of a few good individual performances, they could not come together as a team against the tough sides.

Both the teams have had disappointing campaigns as they finished at the bottom of the table. However, GRD have got a better combination and would also be riding high on their previous performance against the same opponents when they emerged victorious by nine wickets.

Asif Hooper is the batsman to watch out for in the GRD camp. He is an attacking top-order batsman and scored an 18-ball 34 against the Charlotte Strikers. He also has a 27-ball 52 to his name earlier in the tournament and is definitely the top pick in the fantasy squad.
BGR opener Jaheil Walters is the batsman to watch out for. He scored a brilliant 29-ball 36 at the top against the Divers in their previous outing and would be looking to repeat the same once again.

GRD’s Razine Brown is a very good pick for the fantasy players. He has the ability to strike at crucial moments and had bowling figures of 2/9 when these two sides met last time.
BGR skipper Kesrick Williams is in tremendous form at the moment. His recent exploits of 4/14 against the Breakers will hold him in high regard with the fantasy team owners and is the bowler to put your bets on.
Top Tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
GRD’s Asif Hooper is an all-rounder who is a fantasy favorite. He averages 50 points per match and is a favorite amongst the fantasy teams owners. He has the ability to hit hard and also chip in with crucial wickets with spin.
BGR wicket-keeper Wayne Harper is a definite pick for the wicket-keeping option. Not only does he score quick runs, he is extremely good behind the stumps as well. He scored an unbeaten 21-ball 32 and affected two dismissals versus the Breakers last week.
