South Group teams Gloucestershire (GLO) will face Hampshire (HAM) in the 53rd match of Vitality T20 Blast 2021 at the County Ground in Bristol, on Sunday, June 20.

Gloucestershire sit fourth in the South Group points table after five matches. With two wins, two losses and a no result, they have five points and a net run rate of -0.314.

Hampshire are further down the table in seventh place, with one win, three losses and a no result. They have three points with a NRR of -0.804.

GLO vs HAM Dream11 prediction

Despite a better start to their Vitality T20 Blast campaign compared to Hampshire, Gloucestershire won't go into this fixture as the outright favourites.

In the last five encounters between the teams, both Gloucestershire and Hampshire have two wins each with one match getting abandoned. However, with more wins overall in the bag this season, Gloucestershire have the psychological advantage.

GLO vs HAM Dream11 team tips

Top tip: Best batsmen

Ian Cockbain has been in decent form for Gloucestershire this season. Coming first down in the batting order, the player is often tasked with the job of steadying the ship and he has done that effectively. His unbeaten 62-run knock in the last match, which had eight boundaries and a six, almost propelled Gloucestershire to a win.

D'Arcy Short has been Hampshire's star performer so far, despite the side's underwhelming start in the campaign. It was the opener's 28-ball 48 that gave Hampshire a strong start against Middlesex in the last game, although it ended in a losing cause.

Top tip: Best bowlers

Having conceded 691 runs in 75.2 overs so far in Vitality Blast T20 2021, Gloucestershire haven't been a good bowling side this season. However, a safe bowling bet from the side would be Daniel Worrall, who conceded just 27 runs in the last match and scalped a wicket as well.

The bowling department has been of real concern for Hampshire as well, with the club conceding 690 runs in five matches. However, Mason Crane was a difference-maker in the last game against Middlesex, where he returned with figures of 3/35 in three overs. Fantasy team owners should capitalise on his form.

Top tip: All-rounder and wicket-keeper

While Ryan Higgins hasn't been very effective for Gloucestershire this season, he is a utility player every captain would want in a T20 team. Handy with the bat in the lower order, Higgins manages to remain economical with the ball on most occasions. He could be a good all-rounder option.

Hampshire's Lewis McManus could be a good pick for the wicket-keeper’s role. The middle-order batsman hit 47 runs in the last game and was involved in a stumping as well. He could fetch the bonus points for your fantasy team.
