The Freyer Women’s T20 Tournament 2023 will start on Thursday, June 22, and run till Wednesday, June 28 in Chennai.

Organised by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), the Freyer Women’s Tournament 2023 will witness eight teams battle for the T20 title.

Green Invaders, Silver Strikers, Pink Warriors, Blue Avengers, Yellow Challengers, Red Rangers, Orange Dragons and Purple Blazers are the eight teams participating in the upcoming T20 tournament.

As per the format, eight participating teams are divided into two groups of four teams each. 

Blue Avengers, Green Invaders, Pink Warriors and Silver Strikers are placed in one group, while Orange Dragons, Purple Blazers, Red Rangers and Yellow Challengers are clubbed in another group.

A total of 13 matches, including the final, will be played in the T20 competition. 

Each team will play the other side in their group in a round-robin format. The table-toppers of each group will clash in the Freyer Women’s T20 Tournament 2023 final on June 28.

The Freyer Women’s T20 Tournament is part of the Freyer Cup, which also includes the One-Day format since its inception in 2018.

By organising these tournaments, the TNCA provides great opportunities to budding women cricketers to showcase their talent.
