Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament 2023 to begin in Chennai on July 1 - watch live streaming in India

After the completion of the T20 competition, the Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament 2023 will start on Saturday, July 1 in Chennai.

Just like the T20 event, the same eight teams will compete in the upcoming Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament 2023, organised by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).

The eight teams that will battle for the Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament 2023 are Blue Avengers, Green Invaders, Orange Dragons, Pink Warriors, Purple Blazers, Red Rangers, Silver Strikers and Yellow Challengers.

As per the One-Day schedule, the eight participating teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each. A total of 13 matches will be played in the Freyer Women’s One-Day tournament to determine the winner.

While Blue Avengers, Red Rangers, Purple Blazers and Silver Strikers are placed in one group, the other group comprises Green Invaders, Orange Dragons, Pink Warriors and Yellow Challengers.

Each team will play the other side in their group in a round-robin format. The table-toppers of each group will clash in the Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament 2023 final on July 10.

The Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament is part of the Freyer Cup, which also includes the T20 tournament. Since 2018, the TNCA has been organising these tournaments to provide opportunities to budding women cricketers to showcase their talent.

There will be no live telecast of the Freyer Women’s One-Day Tournament 2023 in India.
