The Board of control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced their 32-member Indian squad for the tour of Australia on Monday, and the fans are voicing their discretion as Suryakumar Yadav has once again been overlooked.

The Mumbai batsman is having another stupendous Indian T20 League season, scoring 283 runs in 11 innings at an average of 31.44, but the likes of Manish Pandey and Sanju Samson have been preferred ahead of him. The T20I squad, in particular, sees some notable inclusions as Varun Chakravarthy is in line for his debut. Furthermore, the likes of Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Kartik Tyagi, Ishan Porel and T. Natarajan have also been included as four additional bowlers and will travel with the squad Down Under. Hardik Pandya, on the other hand, has been named in the limited-overs series squad. He hasn’t played for India since September 22 last year.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant has been left out of the limited-overs series, but has found himself a place in the Test squad. Suryakumar Yadav, on his part, is the highest run-scorer in the Indian T20 League from the uncapped category, and has yet been overlooked by the selectors, forcing the fans to voice their disconcert. This is how they are reacting:
