The England cricket team and New Zealand return to international cricket action with a two-game Test series that gets underway on June 2.

England, playing their first set of games since March, host the first Test at the iconic Lord’s stadium in London while the second Test will be held at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

The hosts will play with a weakened team as three of their frontline players - Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer - are recuperating from their respective injuries. The seasoned pair of James Anderson - who is chasing 1000 first-class wickets - and Stuart Broad are tipped to anchor the bowling while Rory Burns and skipper Joe Root are well-placed to lead the batting attack.

New Zealand, meanwhile, see this Test assignment as a warm-up for their upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final against India. The Kane Williamson-led Black Caps have a well-rounded unit at their disposal and are eager to register positive results in the upcoming assignment.
