Following the successful completion of the European Cricket Series 2021 (ECS) in Rome, the competition now moves to the other part of Italy, with Bologna now playing as the host from March 22 to March 27.
Unlike in Rome, the ECS Bologna will feature six teams; Baracca Prato, Bologna, Cricket Stars, Kings XI, Pianoro and Royal Parma. While the tournament in Rome was more Lazio centric, the one in Bologna has invited a variety of teams; a Tuscan team (Baracca Prato), two Bolognese (Pianoro and Bologna), one from Modena (Cricket Stars) and one from Mantua-Piacenza (Kings XI).
The top-four teams finishing in the points table will qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 27, and the winners will then square off in the final on the same day.

From Bologna, the European Cricket Series will next move to Venice, Milan and then Brescia.
