Netherland XI, Spain, England XI and Belgium are the four remaining teams vying for a spot in the ECC T10 2021 Championship Week final scheduled to be held on Friday, October 8.
While Netherland XI will lock horns with Spain in Eliminator 3, England XI will face Belgium in Qualifier 1 to book a place in Friday’s summit clash.
After finishing bottom in the Championship Week standings, Spain defeated Austria and Italy in Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 respectively to set up a clash against Netherlands XI in Eliminator 3.
On the other hand, while the Netherlands finished third in the Championship Week standings, the Sebastiaan Braat-led side lost to England XI and Belgium in Playoff 1 and Playoff 3 respectively.
Championship Week table-toppers England XI defeated Netherlands XI and Belgium in Playoff 1 and Playoff 2 respectively to seal a spot in Qualifier 1. Meanwhile, Belgium beat Netherlands XI in Playoff 3 to storm into Qualifier 1.
All the remaining matches will be played at the Cartama Oval in Malaga, Spain on Friday.
