Cinnamon Pacers (CP) and Saffron Strikers (SS) clash in their bid to assert dominance in Spice Isle T10 as the teams face each other in match 23 on Monday, June 7, at the National Cricket Stadium in St George’s, Grenada.
CP are placed second on the points table with a total of seven points. They go into the contest on the back of a 21-run loss via Duckworth-Lewis method against the Clove Challengers. CP had earlier won the previous encounter between the two sides by 10 runs.

Alick Athanaze has been the go-to man for CP in this tournament and is a must-have in your fantasy squad. In the previous encounter between the two sides, he scored a magnificent unbeaten 39-ball 78 at a strike rate of 200 to set up a 10-wicket win for his side. His knock included six fours and just as many maximums.
Mickel Joseph is a great batting pick from the SS unit. He scored an unbeaten 16-ball 30 against the Bay Leaf Blasters and followed it up with a 15-ball 39 against the Ginger Generals, making him a must-have in any fantasy team.
Top tip: Best bowlers
Micah Narine had a great outing for CP the last time these sides fought it out. He took 2/23 and played a key role in their win over the Strikers. Narine is a smart bowling pick in any fantasy squad. He also took 3/9 against the Clove Challengers and is in good form.
Laurie Williams is a steady contributor in the wickets department for SS and a good pick to have in your fantasy team. He took 2/8 versus the Generals and chips in with a wicket each in almost every match.

Kenroy Peters is a great all-round pick in this match. The CP player led from the front with his bowling by taking 3/23 and causing trouble for the Strikers. He is also a handy batsman in the middle-order and a very good fantasy option.
SS wicket-keeper Lendon Lawrence is the best option available for this role. He is smart and quick behind the stumps and also prefers going after attacks while opening the innings. He scored a 16-ball 32 previously against the Strikers and also has an unbeaten half-century against the Blasters to his name.
