The Central Europe Cup 2022 will start on Friday, July 8 and conclude on Sunday, July 10.
Organised by the Czech Cricket Union, the Central Europe Cup is an annual international cricket tournament played in Prague, Czech Republic since its inception in 2014.
The Central Europe Cup started off as a 50-over tournament before it was changed to T20 format in 2019.
The upcoming edition of Central Europe Cup will feature hosts Czech Republic, Austria and Luxembourg.
As per the schedule, each team will play the other side twice in a double round-robin format. The team topping the points table will be crowned champion after a total of six matches.
All matches of Central Europe Cup 2022 will be played at Vinor Cricket Ground in Prague.
Poland are the most decorated team in the Central Europe Cup, having won the title three times in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Apart from Poland, Czech Republic have bagged the title twice in 2016 and 2019 while Switzerland and Austria have claimed the title once each.
Austria are the defending champions of the Central Europe Cup, having won the title last year.
The 2020 edition of the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted T20I status to the Central Europe Cup in January 2019.

There will be no live telecast of the Central Europe Cup 2022 cricket tournament in India.
