The CAP Inter District T20 2022, organised by the Cricket Association of Pondicherry, is set to get underway from November 5. All the matches of the campaign will be held at the CAP Ground 3 in Pondicherry, India. The six-team tournament will continue till November 21.
The six participating teams are Karaikal XI, Mahe XI, Pondicherry North XI, Pondicherry South XI, Pondicherry West XI and Yanam XI. Pondicherry North XI will face Karaikal XI in the competition’s curtain raiser.
The six teams will face each other twice in a round-robin format through the course of the tournament. There are 33 matches overall, with two games scheduled per day, one at 10:00 AM and the other at 2:00 PM.
The top four teams will qualify for the semis, with the first-placed team squaring off against the fourth-placed side in the first semi-final. Similarly, the second-placed and the third-placed teams will lock horns in the other semi-final. Both games will be held on November 20.
The winners of the semis will contest the final on November 21, 2022.
