Bay Leaf Blasters (BLB) and Clove Challengers (CC) enter into a final battle to salvage some pride in the fifth-place playoff fixture of the Spice Isle T10 on Thursday, June 10, at the National Cricket Stadium in St George’s, Grenada.
BLB finished the league stage in fifth position with three wins and six losses. They have gotten the better of CC on both the occasions they have met in the ongoing tournament, once by 8 wickets and then by 10 wickets.
CC finished last on the points table, though with an equal number of wins, losses, and points as BLB. They finished in last position on account of an inferior net run rate. They haven’t enjoyed much success against BLB and this will be a last-ditch attempt to get a one-up over them.

Imran Joseph is in fine form for CC at the moment. He hit an unbeaten 13-ball 40 against the Pacers and also made a 15-ball 49 versus BLB earlier in the tournament, which makes him a fantasy favourite in this clash.

Amikel Dubissette is the bowler to watch out for in the BLB camp. He loves to play against CC and has taken five wickets against them in two matches. The figures of 3/8 and 2/13 are a testament to the fact that he raises his game when facing CC. Fantasy owners must absolutely pick him as their lead bowler.
CC’s Jeron Noel is a smart pick in the bowling department in this match. He is coming on the back of a two-wicket haul against Cinnamon Pacers and that will boost his confidence. His wicket-taking ability is common knowledge in the league.

CC all-rounder Darron Nedd is a great choice for the all-rounder category. He is known to play in an attacking manner and also chips in with wickets at crucial junctures. In his last match against Pacers, he scored a 21-ball 42.
BLB gloveman Denis Smith is a very good option for the wicket-keeping slot. He is capable of quick cameos and is very good behind the stumps too. His unbeaten knock of 41 from 21 balls versus the Warriors is proof of that and fantasy owners can bank on him to come good again.
