Brisbane Heat (BH-W) take on Adelaide Strikers (AS-W) in the eliminator of Women’s Big Bash League 2021 at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, November 24. The winner of this fixture will lock horns with Melbourne Renegades (MR-W) in the challenger round on Thursday, November 25.

BH-W vs AS-W Dream11 prediction

Brisbane Heat women and Adelaide Strikers women have already played each other twice in WBBL 2021. Their first meeting was marred by heavy rain and was reduced to 11 overs. BS-W scored 104/5 in those overs and successfully defended the total by restricting AS-W to 99/4.

Their second meeting saw AS-W having their retribution. They first restricted BH-W to a mere 94/7 in 20 overs and reached the target within 16.2 overs.

Brisbane Heat have won two of their last five matches against Adelaide Strikers and are likely to come out on top on Wednesday.

BH-W vs AS-W Dream11 team tips for Women’s Big Bash League 2021

Top tip: Best batter

AS-W opener Katie Mack scored a 48-ball 54 the last time she squared off against BH-W. It marked the beginning of what can be termed as a purple patch for the 28-year-old as she has gone on to accrue 262 fantasy points from her last three matches. She is in fine form having scored heavily for her team recently and has remained unbeaten in three of her last four games.

Top tip: Best bowler

BH-W bowler Courtney Sippel picked two wickets against AS-W in the previous meeting while keeping her economy under six. The 20-year-old bowler has been in decent form this season and has made it to the Dream Team in three of her last four matches. An underrated player, Sippel could prove to be a trump card in this fixture.

Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper

While Grace Harris is one option to go with, we recommend you to pick Jess Jonassen considering the form she is in. The BH-W all-rounder has accumulated 270 fantasy points from her last four matches and could add more to her tally on Wednesday.

As far as a wicket-keeper is concerned, BH-W’s Georgia Redmayne should be picked ahead of Tegan McPharlin solely on the basis of her current form. Redmayne has made it to the Dream Team in all of her last six matches, accruing an impressive 379 fantasy points in the process.

BH-W vs AS-W probable playing XI
