The Bangladesh Women vs Ireland Women ODI 2024 series will start in Dhaka on November 27.

The upcoming three-match ODI series is a part of the ICC Women's Championship 2022-25. 

As per the Bangladesh Women vs Ireland Women ODI 2024 schedule, all three games will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Bangladesh Women are currently ranked eighth in the ICC Women’s ODI team rankings while Ireland Women are placed three places below in 11th.

Led by Nigar Sultana, the Bangladesh women’s cricket team will play their first international series since the Women’s T20 World Cup held in the United Arab Emirates in October.

Opening batter Sharmin Akhter and right-arm pacer Jahanara Alam have been recalled to Bangladesh Women’s ODI squad.

Sanjida Akter and Taj Nehar have earned their maiden call-ups to the ODI side. 

The likes of Farzana Akter, Sumaiya Akter, Disha Biswas and Nishita Akter have been dropped from the ODI squad that played against Australia in April.

On the other hand, the Ireland women's national cricket team has named a young squad to be led by Gaby Lewis.

Alana Dalzell has been included in the ODI squad as a replacement for the injured Jane Maguire. 

Having secured just three wins in 18 ODIs, Ireland Women are currently languishing at the bottom of the ICC Women's Championship 2022-25 standings with eight points. 

Bangladesh Women vs Ireland Women ODI head-to-head 

The Bangladesh Women vs Ireland Women ODI head-to-head record favours the Asian outfit. Bangladesh Women have won three of the six ODIs while Ireland Women have registered just a solitary victory. As many as two ODIs have ended in no result.

The last time these two sides met, Bangladesh Women defeated Ireland Women by seven wickets in an ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier encounter in Colombo in February 2017.
