The Assam Premier Club Championship 2024 is all set to begin on Saturday, April 20 and will continue till Monday, May 6.
Organised by the Assam Cricket Association, City Cricket Club will face 4 Season Club in the opening match of the tournament.
A total of 33 games will be played over the course of the tournament and as many as 12 teams will be participating in the 20-over competition.
These 12 teams have been divided into two groups of six teams each with all sides squaring off against each other once in the 17-day long tournament.
Group A will feature the likes of City Cricket Club, 4 Season Club, Super Touch Club, Saptarshi, Biswanath Blue Warriors, and India Club, Silchar.
Meanwhile, Group B is made up of Club Triranga, Barpeta, Tengapara C.C., Kokrajhar, Cricket Club of Dibrugarh, Napcc, Rangia Cricket Association, and Star Sporting Club.
After all teams play one another from their respective groups once, the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals.
The winners of the two semi-finals will clash in the Assam Premier Club Championship 2024 final on Monday, May 6.
All matches in this tournament will be played at the Judges Field in Guwahati and City Cricket Club are the defending champions after beating BDMTCC by 88 runs in the final last season.
