The Asian Legends League 2024 T20 cricket tournament will start on May 27 and run till June 4 in Dambulla, Sri Lanka.
Organised by World Sports Group (WSG), the Asian Legends League 2024 will see five teams compete in 15 T20 matches.
Afghanistan Pathans, Bangladesh Tigers, Indian Royals, Pakistan Stars and Sri Lankan Lions are the five franchise teams representing different Asian nations.
As per the Asian Legends League 2024 schedule, each team will play the other sides once in a single round-robin format.
The top two teams in the standings after all the league matches will clash in the Qualifier 1 for a place in the final while fourth and fifth-placed teams will square off in the Eliminator 1.
The third-placed team will lock horns with the winner of the Eliminator 1 in the Eliminator 2.
Meanwhile, Qualifier 2 will see the loser of Qualifier 1 take on the winner of the Eliminator 2 for the other spot in the final.
The Asian Legends League 2024 final will be held on Tuesday, June 4.
All matches of the Asian Legends League 2024 will be played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.
Dawlat Zadran (Afghanistan Pathans), Mohammad Ashraful (Bangladesh Tigers), Irfan Pathan (Indian Royals), Mohammad Irfan (Pakistan Stars) and Upul Tharanga (Sri Lankan Lions) have been announced as captains of the five franchises.
Apart from these five stars, several former Asian veteran cricketers will participate in the upcoming T20 cricket tournament in Sri Lanka.
