The Andhra Premier League 2023 will start on August 16 in the port city of Visakhapatnam.
Organised by the Andhra Cricket Association, the second edition of the Andhra Premier League will see six teams compete in a total of 18 matches across 12 days.
Bezwada Tigers, Coastal Riders, Godavari Titans, Rayalaseema Kings, Uttarandhra Lions and Vizag Warriors are the same six teams from the inaugural edition that will battle for the Andhra Premier League Season 2 title.
As per the Andhra Premier League 2023 schedule, each team will play the others once in a round-robin format.
The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the Andhra Premier League 2023 playoffs. The third-placed and fourth-placed teams will clash in the Eliminator for a place in Qualifier 2.
The top two teams in the standings will lock horns in Qualifier 1 for a place in the final.
The winner of the Eliminator will later face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the remaining spot in the final.
The Andhra Premier League 2023 final is scheduled to be held on August 27.
All Andhra Premier League 2023 matches will be played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Coastal Riders won the inaugural edition of the Andhra Premier League, having defeated Bezawada Tigers by seven runs in the 2022 final.
