Anderson and Tendulkar honoured with new Test series trophy

Tendulkar said Test cricket built his career and taught him key life lessons. Anderson called the honour personal and said it reflects the strong rivalry and respect between the two teams.
The trophy celebrates the effort, respect, and long history between India and England. The cricket boards also introduced the Pataudi Medal, which will go to the winning captain at the end of each series.
Anderson took 149 wickets against India in 39 matches, while Tendulkar scored 2,535 runs in 32 games against England. ‘They lit up the game with brilliant performances that have inspired millions,’ said BCCI's secretary Devajit Saikia. Both players inspired millions through their skill and dedication.
