Ariana AKIF are the defending champions as they beat Ariana CC in last year’s T10 final. On the other hand, Malmo lost the Shield Cup final in 2020 and will be keen to put on a better show in 2021.
When the two teams last met in the 2020 edition, it was Ariana AKIF who convincingly beat Malmo and they will go into Monday’s matches as the favourites looking to start their campaign on a positive note.

Top tip: Best batsmen
Khaled Mohammad is once again expected to score quick runs at the top of the order, like he did in the previous edition. The AF batsman regularly maintained a strike rate of over 170 in 2020.
Saqlain Karamat Shah and Sudais Khan are the two best bets in the batting department from MAL. They are highly priced at 9cr each and are expected to add valuable fantasy points in the tournament.
Top tip: Best bowlers
Sedik Sahak of AF was one of the leading bowlers for his side in the 2020 edition after picking up six wickets. More will be expected from him going forward. Along with Sahak, you may also look at including Yousaf Babak in your fantasy team.
Hassan Zaigham of MAL was one of the best bowlers on show for Malmo last season. He picked up five wickets in four games at an average of just under 14 and will be a threat once again.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
Hammad Rafiq of MAL scored 116 runs in the last edition and also picked up four wickets. Given his all-round skills, Rafiq is highly priced at 10cr and has already been picked by 95% of fantasy players for the next game.
Considering the available options in the wicket-keeper category, Bilal Zaigham of MAL appears to be the best fit for the next game. While Zaigham didn’t shine with the willow in 2020, his keeping skills were impressive. He will be eager to also add runs with his bat this time around though.
