Aussie pace-bowling legend and SportsAdda brand ambassador Brett Lee has so far picked his predicted Indian T20 League top four, champion and leading run-scorer. However, for the final category, that of leading wicket-takers, he was torn between two fine bowlers in Rashid Khan and Jasprit Bumrah, so he chose both!

Rapid Rashid

Rashid Khan has muscled the Indian T20 League around ever since his maiden appearance in the tournament in 2017. Since then, the Afghan international has gone on to notch up 55 wickets in 46 Indian T20 League matches and that too at a mean economy rate of 6.55.

The 22-year-old's main advantage is his uncanny ability to obtain a sharp turn off the surface in both leg-breaks and googlies and that too at a decent speed, which ends up leaving the batsmen with little time to adapt to the ball's quick change in trajectory.

Brett Lee figures the UAE pitches could favour Rashid, "Rashid Khan, I reckon, with his change-ups and his googlies, he will suit the UAE wickets."

Blazing Bumrah

Together with Lasith Malinga, who unfortunately had to pull out of Indian T20 League 2020 to be with his ailing father, Jasprit Bumrah formed a notorious death bowling duo for Mumbai, and made any opponents tasked with chasing the side a tall order.

Certainly, Malinga's omission will present some headaches for Mumbai in picking options to partner Bumrah during the death overs. However, with the additions of Nathan Coulter-Nile, Trent Boult and Dhawal Kulkarni, Bumrah should not be short of partners during the death.

Brett added, "I think Bumrah will take wickets early on but it's at the death, I believe he will be sensational and very very effective."
