On the other hand, Pakistan have played four T20I bilateral series since the T20 World Cup 2021, winning and losing two apiece. Their most recent series against England concluded in a 4-3 loss.
Pakistan finished runners-up in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022, losing to Sri Lanka in the final.
The Babar Azam-led team’s first warm-up game against England ended in a six-wicket defeat. They faced Afghanistan in the second practice match, which got abandoned mid-way due to rain.

Pakistan won the T20 World Cup 2021 Super-12 clash by 10 wickets, which remains their only win over India in the history of the tournament.
The last match-up between the two sides saw Pakistan win by five wickets in the Super Four of the Asia Cup 2022. However, India won by a similar margin when the two teams met earlier in the same competition.
