India are all set to take on England in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final at the Adelaide Oval, Australia, on November 10. The match is scheduled to commence at 1:30 PM IST.

The Indian cricket team finished their group stage with four wins and one loss from their five matches. They won their first two games against Pakistan and Netherlands before a five-wicket defeat to South Africa.

Nonetheless, they won their remaining two games against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe by margins of five runs and 71 runs, respectively, to top their group with eight points.

On the other hand, the English cricket team progressed to the semis with seven points from five fixtures, finishing second in Group 1. They finished level on points with New Zealand and Australia with an identical record of three wins, one loss and one no result.

However, they sealed the semis spot by having a superior net run rate of +0.473 than that of Australia (-0.173), knocking the defending champions out in the process.

The Jos Buttler-led side’s qualification chances were looking bleak after the first three matches, with one victory, one loss and one no result. Thereafter, they upped their game with a 20-run win over the Kiwis followed by a narrow four-run victory over Afghanistan, making it to the semis for the third consecutive edition.
