Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is one of the finest openers in limited overs cricket and has mustered decent numbers in the longest format as well. He is also known as the marathon man of the Indian batting line-up for his ability to bat long durations and register big scores.

However, much to the disappointment of his admirers, those big scores have been far and few for the star batter in recent times.

Rohit Sharma’s last century

Rohit Sharma's last international century came against New Zealand in the third ODI at Indore in January 2023.

After being put into bat, Rohit Sharma’s mesmerising innings of 101 in 85 balls helped the side build a massive total. His knock included nine fours and six sixes. Rohit dominated the Kiwi bowlers from the get-go, stitching a 212-run opening partnership with Shubman Gill.

Rohit Sharma’s last century in ODI

Nearly three years since his previous One Day International ton, Rohit Sharma has scored a century against New Zealand at Indore. The Indian captain scored an 85-ball 101 before getting dismissed to Michael Bracewell. It was his 30th century in the format, making it an all-Indian top three in the list of most centuries in ODI cricket.

Rohit Sharma’s last century in T20Is

Rohit Sharma holds the record for the most centuries in T20I cricket, achieving the landmark four times. The last of these four tons came against West Indies on November 6, 2018, where he remained unbeaten on 111 off 61 deliveries, helping India win the match by 71 runs.
