The Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium is India’s 19th Test venue and is situated in Mohali.

Previously known as just the PCA Stadium, it was renamed in 2015 after Inderjit Singh Bindra, who was an IAS officer and ex-President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He served as a cricket administrator for more than four decades from 1975.

Established in 1993, this stadium - also known as Mohali Stadium - has a capacity of 27,000 spectators and is home to the Punjab domestic cricket team in the Indian domestic circuit and Team Punjab in the Indian T20 League.

One unique feature of this stadium are its flood light pillars, which are located at a low height to enable the easy passage of planes from the airport nearby.

The pitch here is known to usually assist the seamers although it has gotten more batting friendly in recent years.

While this stadium has witnessed its fair share of historic moments in the past across formats, as far as T20s go, it’s worth noting that it hosted three matches during the 2016 T20 World Cup, including one featuring India.
