The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is one of the nine venues that will host the T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the West Indies and the United States in June.
Constructed on the grounds of Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York, the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is a new modular, temporary stadium that will stage eight T20 World Cup 2024 matches.
With a seating capacity of 34,000, it will host the high-profile India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 match on June 9.
Meanwhile, the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will stage its first international cricket match featuring Sri Lanka and South Africa in the upcoming T20 World Cup on June 3.
The Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team will also take on Ireland (June 5) and co-hosts United States (June 12) at this venue.

Nassau County International Cricket Stadium facts
The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is one of the three venues that will host the T20 World Cup 2024 matches in the United States.
Central Broward Park in Florida and Texas’ Grand Prairie Stadium are the other two venues selected for the marquee T20 event.
Once the stadium is officially completed, the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will measure approximately 361,850 square feet, or 33,616 square metres.
Drop-in pitches will be used at this temporary venue for the T20 World Cup 2024. These drop-in pitches have been flown from Adelaide to Florida, and then in New York.
As per reports, the soil for the pitch in New York will be similar to one witnessed at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is expected to offer a lot of pace and bounce, which will aid the batters. Hence, this could be a high-scoring venue at the upcoming T20 World Cup.
The boundaries at this venue won’t be big as per reports. It could be around the 65-70m range. Fans can expect more fours and sixes being hit at this New York-based stadium.
