The venue, established by 5th Baron Talbot of Malahide on the grounds of Malahide Castle, is owned by Malahide Cricket Club and operated by Cricket Ireland.

The Malahide Cricket Club Ground has a seating capacity of 11,500 and is the biggest cricket venue for international cricket matches in Ireland.

The first international match at the Malahide Cricket Club Ground was played between Ireland and England. The ODI fixture saw England register a six-wicket victory with Ireland-born English cricketer Eoin Morgan slamming an unbeaten 124.

Best bowling figures: Kuldeep Yadav has the best bowling figures at the Malahide Cricket Club Ground. The Indian spinner claimed four wickets for 21 runs against Ireland in a 2018 T20 match, which IND won by 76 runs.

Kuldeep is among the five bowlers to take four wickets in a T20I innings at the venue, which includes homegrown Peter Chase who grabbed a 4/35 in the same fixture.
