The Emirates D50 League 2023 - the tournament's second edition - kickstarts on Wednesday, May 3 with Abu Dhabi taking on Dubai in the first match.

The 12-day-long 50-over tournament will feature both established and rising UAE talents. The five teams participating in the tournament are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, and Emirates Blues.

Emirates Blues are the defending champions after beating Ajman in the final of the previous edition of the tournament.

All teams will play each other once in the group stage and the top side in the final will secure a direct path to the final, while the teams that finish second and third in the standings at the end of the group stage will compete against each other for the other spot in the final.

All the matches in this tournament will take place in Malek Cricket Ground 1, Ajman, and Malek Cricket Ground 2, Ajman.

The final of the tournament will take place on May 14 and a maximum of two games will be played per day over the course of the tournament.

There will be no live telecast of Emirates D50 League 2023 on any TV channels in India.
