Abu Dhabi T10 2022 is set to commence on November 23 and will run until December 4. All the matches will be played at Zayed Cricket Stadium, the organizing committee has confirmed.

The sixth edition of the competition will see reigning champions Deccan Gladiators defending their title against five other teams in Delhi Bulls, Chennai Braves, Bangla Tigers, Northern Warriors, and Team Abu Dhabi.

The format of Abu Dhabi T10 2022 will be the same as the previous editions, meaning that each team will play a total of 10 league matches before the top four sides move to the play-offs.

The previous edition saw star players such as Wahab Riaz, Andre Russell, Liam Livingstone, Eoin Morgan, Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali all gracing the field, and while there is no confirmation over their availability for the upcoming edition, the organizers have confirmed that ‘another stellar cast of cricketers will be selected to descend on Abu Dhabi when the draft gets underway later in the year.

"When we first brought the league to Abu Dhabi, we had the aim of establishing it as one of the standout events on the international cricket calendar and, with the support of ADC, ADSC, DCT – Abu Dhabi and Emirates Cricket Board, we've done just that,” said Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman T Ten Sports Management.

The Abu Dhabi T10 2022 will also provide the UAE men's national team stars with the opportunity to test their skills against the world's best.

The T10 tournament started in 2017 and the now-defunct Kerala Kings were crowned the first-ever champions. Norther Warriors went on to win two of the next three seasons and Deccan Gladiators are the defending champions.
